Defensive Driving

GCSC 's Defensive Driving course is provided for members and non-members either on-site or at the GCSC Training Facility.

This course is designed for drivers who are already skilled in the basics of handling a vehicle. The objective of this course is to refresh and build on your current driving skills and help you reach a new level of defensive driving. Changing the attitude of the driver is emphasized.

Since this is not a lecture course, such participation and contributions throughout will be the keys to its success. By watching the video presentations and applying the skills into daily driving, this will reduce the chance of violating traffic laws and becoming involved in a traffic collision.

Call the Safety Council Office to schedule a class for your employees at your site. We also offer the 8 Hour Course on select Saturdays at the Hanna Building Downtown Cleveland - $59.00 per person with BMV required certificate. This course meets the requirements for a 2-Point Credit for those who have 2 to 11 points on their driver license record and also satisfies the requirements for the 12-Point Suspension.
