Many employers are making aggressive moves today in hiring a more diverse and inclusive workforce. In this effort, there comes new challenges to provide effective training for all employees. New concepts are being developed to meet this challenge such as gamification. What is gamification in training? Put simply, gamification is the act of transforming training lessons into a type of game that encourages learners to absorb information through an exciting and memorable approach.
Dr. Snyder will discuss the steps necessary to leverage a learning experience platform that addresses the evolving challenges surrounding communication, learning and technology. Discover how to grow a learning ecosystem that unites the people, learning process, data and technology utilizing gamification to produce an interconnected learning experience. This approach provides personalized experiences, moving away from the “one size fits all” training approach with no consideration for the learner’s personal skill or background knowledge.
The presenter is Dr. Daniel Snyder with 30 years of global occupational safety and health consulting experience, he partners with stakeholders to develop strategies for improving safety and health management systems by conducting workplace evaluations, facilitating research to improve safety performance, and designing customized educational curriculum.
