Hand injuries are one of the most common type to occur in the workplace.
This presentation will outline most common workplace injuries including trigger finger, tendonitis, lacerations, crush injuries, and amputations. Dr. Nappi will discuss how each injury presents and symptoms in the employee/patient and discuss treatment of the injury and first responder actions. He will also show before and after pictures of injuries.
James Nappi, MD is an orthopedic hand surgeon at Hand and Microsurgery Associates in Columbus, Ohio. His areas of focus include injuries of the fingers, hand, wrist, and arm. He began his career in medicine by attending medical school at Ohio State University in Columbus. He completed his internship and surgical residency at Summa Akron City Hospital. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Ohio State University and his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Anyone interested in attending this meeting will be required to register and pay. This is a virtual meeting that will be conducted as a Zoom Meeting.
